| If youre looking for a ski that can take you from the trees to the groomers but, honestly, the groomers are your second choice, the K2 Apache explorer is your ski. With an 84 mm waist it has the width to perform in any condition you're likely to encounter in the lower 48. Narrow enough to arc out on flat and fast groomers and fat enough for a little float when then the fluffy stuff comes down. The turn radius is right in the sweet spot (17m for the 177) between a dedicated carver and an all mountain machine. Throw in an MX12 binding system and you've got no excuses - get out there and rip. | |
