Description:
2010 Nordica Dobermann Pro EDT 130 Ski Boot
The all new Dobermann collection has been completely redesigned from the ground up and perfected in all areas, to raise the performance bar once again. The New Dobermann EDT (efficient dynamic technology) basically means they put aluminum plates on the bottom of the boot board which then screws into the toe & heel lugs of the shell. This provides enhanced efficiency of the boot structure, maximizes energy, transmission increased, and torsional rigidity is produced. Simply put it means less effort with more power. They also lowered the boot board to accommodate FIS regulations. The Dobermann's 130 flex combined with the new built in aluminum boot board in its 98mm last is a experts skiers dream. The skinny: An excellent choice for ex racers or those wanting a race boot without sacrificing warmth or comfort. Shell is changed from 2009. No more cuff adjusters although you can purchase them aftermarket. Flexes a little softer & fit is slightly snugger than 2009's Dobermann in the forefoot, instep & calf. We are not quite sold on putting metal under your foot so heaters may be an option if your waiting for a race or are an all day skier. Either way you'll be blown away by the way it skis. Precision is the first word that comes to mind. The Fit: Race tight, small-medium instep with a roomier navicular area. Fits medium to somewhat larger calf with the spoiler out, fits B-C widths. Some D widths also but maybe needing some custom fitting.
