2010 Rossignol Zenith Sensor3 110
Sensor is a patented concept on high performance racing boots. Rossignol had been working for several years on energy transfer, which is a key point in ski boots performance. The Sensor3 concept mirrors basic foot morphology's philosophies. It was developed with high tech computer imaging systems, yielding the most modern anatomical shape. On the foot, there are three balance receptor zones (1st & 5th met-head, and heel). The design focuses creating direct contact with these 3 receptor zones for direct transmission. The Zenith Sensor3 offers 100 mm lasted shell has a 110 flex index to provide plenty of power and responsive energy transfer without discomfort during long days of epic skiing. The shell has an active hinge system to provide for easy entry and exit, along with and arched instep and Vibram soles for increased hiking performance and comfort. The Sensor3 uses Rossignol Pro-Fit polyurethane padding to ensure a custom, anatomically correct fit. For those aggressive enough for a race boot but seeking more comfort. The skinny: One of the best priced all mountain performance boot on the market. The fit: A medium to large calf, medium to large heel pocket, many instep types & C-D widths.
