| 2010 Salomon Shogun Ski Boot The newest two-buckle freeride boot from Salomon. Like last years Ghost with a 98mm last but adding a more upright stance and a softer (100) flex. Similar in fit to its 4 buckle sister, the Falcon, we like the big power strap (almost like a third buckle), sensitive leather liner, and shock absorbing boot board. Did we say how light these boots are? You forget that they are on! The skinny: Not a park and pipe boot like the upright Kaos but if you dabble in the park & are a solid freeride skier who finds the Kaos fit too big and the Ghost is a too Big Mountain for you then this may just be your perfect choice. Or you want a second set of boots for powder or tree skiing. Fit: Chicken legs with narrow feet (A-C widths) & low to medium insteps. | |
